Just You Podcast: Evolution of stories through friendship

In the podcast "Just You," I delved into the fascinating evolution of stories through friendship. I shared personal insights on how friendships can shape our narratives, influence our paths, and contribute to personal and professional growth. From childhood bonds to lifelong connections, I explored the power of friendship in shaping our lives and the stories we tell.

The Business Expansion Podcast: Motherhood Empowerment

On "The Business Expansion Podcast," I shared my journey of building a thriving business during maternity leave. In a candid discussion, I opened up about the challenges and triumphs of balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship. From navigating sleepless nights to seizing business opportunities, my story is a testament to the resilience and determination of mothers pursuing their passions while raising a family.

The Badass Boardroom: The game-changing move every business owner needs to take

In my appearance on "The Badass Boardroom," I discussed the game-changing move every business owner needs to take. Drawing from my own experiences and expertise, I offered valuable insights on strategic decision-making, seizing opportunities, and driving business growth. Evolvepreneur® (After Hours): [Sara Reyes] Empowering Virtually

In my "Evolvepreneur After Hours" appearance, I discussed how I started my virtual assistant (VA) business after being made redundant during the COVID-19 pandemic while pregnant. By leveraging my network, I was fully booked within four weeks. I now support 6 and 7-figure business owners with high-level administrative and marketing tasks, and I coach others, especially mothers, on starting their own VA businesses. I go over the key to my success being clear boundaries and automation tools to balance work and motherhood. I advise starting simply with a laptop and internet, pricing confidently, and understanding the benefits of being a local VA. My main advice is to take the leap, as this career has given me flexibility and fulfillment.

Kindness Matters Podcast: Fostering empathy and compassion across ages

I recently spoke with Mike Rathbun on the Kindness Matters Podcast, where I discussed an initiative on the Sunshine Coast. Every Friday, I take my young children, Mila and Levi and visit a local retirement village, building bonds across generations. These visits uplift not only the elderly residents, many with dementia but also helps to teach my children compassion and empathy. I shared a special relationship my daughter shared with a resident Tony, a former doctor and Jodie who says Fridays are her favourite day of the week because of our visit! Also a memorable Christmas event last year where residents gifted presents to my children, fostering a true sense of community. We addressed the health risks of social isolation in older adults and the benefits of bridging generational gaps. This initiative serves as a model, encouraging similar programs in schools and daycares. Reflecting on kindness, I urge listeners to show compassion daily to everyone.

The Empowered and Elevated Entrepreneur Podcast: Interview with Sara Ilton 6 & 7 Figure VA
Personal Assistant & Business Coach

I was interviewed by Olivia Larsen on the Empowered and Elevated Entrepreneur Podcast, where I spoke about how I started my business five years ago from my couch —28 weeks pregnant after being made redundant.

Fast forward to today and I’ve reached major income milestones, grown my team to three and found the freedom to be a present mum while helping others achieve the same. I shared the fears and doubts I faced, the mindset shifts that led to my business success and the steps I use to guide my clients. We also discussed the tough moments when I felt like giving up and the tools that kept me going.

This conversation is packed with energy, wisdom and actionable tips that listeners can apply to their own businesses. Plus, I reveal the one golden piece of advice I’d give to my younger self. It’s an episode you won’t want to miss!
